THE ISSUES OF RESEARCHING THE CREATIVE POTENTIAL OF A PERSON IN MODERN SCIENTIFIC APPROACHES

Abstract

The article provides a theoretical analysis of the problem of researching the creative potential of the individual in modern scientific approaches. The concept of individual creativity is analyzed. The main aspects of its consideration are identified, such as personal and procedural. Individual creativity requires the development of the necessary abilities, knowledge, and skills to develop a creative product in a certain field of activity. In general, human creativity is aimed at creating new values, both material and spiritual. Theoretical approaches to defining the concept of creative potential of an individual are considered. Researchers focus their attention on studying various aspects of this problem; therefore, there is no single definition of the specified concept. The creative potential of an individual includes abilities, skills, and knowledge, motivation, the activity of the person himself, etc. The main structural components of the creative potential of an individual are potential opportunities that have not yet reached their development, internal subjective opportunities that stimulate the activation of creativity, and objective opportunities associated with the impact on the subject of creative activity. That is, these are various existing innate and acquired characteristics of a creative individual that are unrealized. It has been found that the creative potential of an individual is characterized by a certain dynamism. The potential for creativity is a prerequisite for the creative process and is also its result. The creative potential of a person increases through the realization of creative resources in a certain field of activity. Thus, a person feels an increasing need for creative self-realization. It has been established that the realization of a person's creative potential is influenced by a combination of various factors, namely: predispositions, abilities, experience, strong-willed qualities, and motivation. Also, for its realization, the conditions of the external environment and human activity are necessary. A significant role in the realization of creative potential is played by self-development, which reveals potential abilities. Also, an important component of creative potential is the development of individual creativity. After all, creativity contributes to the maximum manifestation of creative potential. When a person solves problems in an original way, uses unusual ways of thinking for himself, finds as many different ways out of problem situations as possible, then this maximally reveals the potential creative possibilities of the individual.
