PSYCHOSOCIAL DETAILING AS A TOOL FOR IMPLEMENTING VALUE-ORIENTED LIFE STRATEGIES

Abstract

The study substantiates the relevance of examining psychosocial detailing and value–meaning orientations of future psychologists as significant factors of their professional development. Indicators of motivational orientation, self-awareness, and professional reflection were analyzed and found to be high, which indicates a well-formed ability for self-development and professional growth. At the same time, it was revealed that the level of social adaptability is somewhat lower, which highlights the need for further development of skills in effective interaction and management of interpersonal processes. The specifics of students’ value orientations were identified: priority is given to social responsibility and benevolence, which is combined with autonomy and personal effectiveness, forming a balance between individual and social self-realization. Moderate attention to stability, traditions, conformity, and material aspects reflects a balanced attitude towards social norms and external constraints. The value profile is characterized by a pronounced socio-ethical orientation, a high level of autonomy, and limited focus on control and domination. It was revealed that in the sphere of life-meaning orientations, students combine the awareness of life goals with an active search for new meanings, reflecting their aspiration for self-improvement and broadening of life perspective. Correlation analysis confirmed significant relationships between psychosocial detailing, values, and meaning orientations: value reflection is closely associated with autonomy and awareness of life goals, while orientation towards social norms reflects the importance of social regulation. It has been proved that psychosocial detailing serves as a key mechanism for the integration of value and meaning orientations, supporting the development of professional and social competencies and ensuring the formation of conscious life strategies of future psychologists.
