PSYCHOLOGICAL AND PEDAGOGICAL CHILDREN’S SUPPORT WITH HEARING IMPAIRMENTS IN THE CONDITIONS OF MARITAL STATE

The article reveals the principles of psychological and pedagogical support for children with hearing impairments under the conditions of martial law in Ukraine. The stages of hearing examination in children starting from the first days of life are indicated, as well as the goals of hearing aid, if hearing impairment is detected, are outlined. Various aspects of the child’s perception are presented, which are important to develop in case of hearing impairment. A number of corrective measures that must be included in the educational process for children with hearing impairment are listed. It was determined that psychological support of a child with hearing impairment helps to be included in the social space and communicate with other people, and therefore, to feel like an active unit of society. It was established that, in addition to constant stress and a difficult emotional state due to the war in Ukraine, the quality of life of children with hearing impairments has significantly deteriorated. Specific difficulties faced by children with hearing impairment during the war are presented: technical, sensory, speech, social. It was determined that mentally stabilized parents play an important role in the psychological support of children in war conditions. New problems caused by the state of war, which are solved by specialists in the process of helping children with hearing impairments, have been identified. Modern approaches of Ukrainian scientists in the development of psychological and pedagogical assistance to children are analyzed. Criteria for the effectiveness of psychological assistance to children with hearing impairments during hostilities have been developed: reduction of anxiety; equalization of the emotional state, absence of sharp fluctuations; return of the child’s progress to the last level, if there was a regression in intellectual or auditory development during a full-scale invasion; the child expresses less negative scenarios or negative themes (about death, war, separation, destruction); positive dynamics of sleep and nutrition; subjectively, the child looks happier.
